This release introduces ev.energy SOLAR, with three new modes to give you a greener, cheaper charge:
• Solar Only* - match the charge rate of your EV to the amount of solar being exported
• Solar Smart* - maximise solar usage and top up with grid import
• Solar & Grid - charge when it is sunniest without modulating the charge rate
ev.energy SOLAR will be available for $75/year or $7.50/month.

. Tapping the “Back” button was sometimes not, wait for it...taking you back. It will now do what it promises.
. Plus, we've resolved a server issue that prevented some Tesla's from smart charging last Monday (03/08). Our backend team swiftly found the root cause of the problem and fixed this in the background - but please do let our support team know if you're still experiencing any issues.

Whats new
. First impressions count, and our onboarding process wasn't quite up to scratch. So we've overhauled the process to be much less confusing and easier to use.

. The timeline on our dashboard was displaying in GMT, whilst our stats page displayed in your local timezone, so we've fixed that inconsistency.
. Plus, the usual behind the scenes updates to our platform. Such as a fix for a bug in our yearly stats data, which coincided with our previous release.

A small update to fix a bug in our previous release which caused the app to endlessly load when opened. You might be prompted to log in again (sorry about that!).

Charging on an off-peak energy tariff? You can now set a custom price threshold and your car will only charge when your electricity rate drops below that price. Head to your advanced "Smart Charging Settings", switch "Only Charge Off-Peak" ON and use the slider to enable. Make sure the price you set is above your off-peak rate or you won't charge (You may not reach full charge if this can't be delivered in the off-peak time period. You can temporarily override this setting by tapping "Boost").
